Files encryption/decryption

This tool proides reliable files encryption/decryption using Blowfish algorithm with 448-bit key.

Autorun manager

Autorun manager lets you to add, remove and edit programs loading when Windows starts. Just check program in the list to enable it and uncheck to disable.

There are some buttons in the autorun manager page:

Reset	—	Re-read current item properties.

Files Wiping

This tool completely and unrecoverably destroys files. This is done by overwriting the file a set number of times, then resetting the size to 0 bytes, and finally deleting it. Once file is wiped it can be never recovered (even using UnDelete or UnErase tools). Wiping a file with 3 passes respects the DOD 5220.22-M directive for sanitizing a file on a Non-Removable Rigid Disk or a Removable Rigid Disk, and wiping a file with 7 passes respects the NSA approved seven-pass file erasure method.

There are two modes of the wiping: single file wiping and folder wiping.

Options for the folder wiping:

Include subfolders - if this option is checked, PrivacyWatcher wipes the specified folder including all its subfolders. Otherwise only files in the specified directory are wiped.
Delete folder after wiping - this option removes the specified folder after the wiping
