Hotkeys
Hotkeys are used for the working faster with computer programs. There are combinations of hot keys for each program, for the loading of documents and for opening web pages. Hotkeys can also be used for the fast call of some ManageDesk and Windows functions (fig. 1).

There are four types of hot keys to choose from:

| Switch desktops |
This type of hot keys is used for switching between the virtual desktops |
| Management options |
This type of hot key is intended for the management of some operating system functions and windows.- Next desktop / Previous desktop - this switches the current desktop to the next or to the previous one.
- Loop up through windows / Loop down through windows - the analogue of the ALT+TAB keys combination but works for all windows on all virtual desktops, not only on the current one. The chosen window is transferred to the current desktop and becomes active.
- Desktop manager & settings - this calls the settings and desktop manager dialog
- Open / Close CD-ROM - opens or closes the CD-ROM tray.
- Other items duplicate those in the main menu

| Activate web page |
Opens a web page. You should enter the address of the web page to be opened in the "Command line" field. Then press the desired hot keys combination in the "Shortcut key" field and click "Assign". |

| Start file or document |
This type of hot key opens the specified document or program. Choose the document (or the program) to be opened in the file selection dialog. After you've done this, press the desired hot key combination in the "Shortcut key" field and click "Assign". |
Choosing each of these hot key types activates the drop-down list of the commands at the bottom of the dialog box. In order to save the hot key combination, press the "Assign" button after you've chosen a command. To delete the command, remove it from the drop-down list by pressing the "Delete" button or by just hitting "Del" key on the keyboard when this drop-down list is active. Then click the "Assign" button to save changes.
