Options

Customize dialog is used to tailor the ManageDesk program to meet your demands. Here you can turn off useless windows, menu items, taskbar icons, etc. (fig. 1).

Customize settings:

Item Description
Switch desktops with middle mouse button Enables quick last used or selected desktop switching with single mouse click. You can select desktop switching type here.
Move window to selected desktop with key and left mouse button You can move selected windows to other desktop very quickly. If the check box is activated, you can call the supporting desktop's menu by pressing and the left mouse button. You can choose the desirable entry here and move a current window to the selected desktop.
Move window to the next/previous desktop when dragging it out of screen You can quickly move any windows to the next or previous desktop by dragging it out of screen. Please select "Switch desktop follow the window" option if you want to switch desktop follow the window.
Move window to desktop while pressing hotkey You can define hotkeys to move topmost window to specific desktop. Please select desired desktop and input the key into the edit control and press "Assign" button to set the hotkey.
Main context menu items Here you can choose the visibility of the main ManageDesk program's context menu. You can hide unnecessary main menu items by clearing the checkbox beside it.
Show the one taskbar icon Please check this item, if you want to see only one icon of ManageDesk program in the left corner of taskbar. You can change still desktops by pressing shortcut keys or through a little context menu, which appears after you click the left mouse button.
Conventional taskbar icon direction Clearing and checking this checkbox allows you to change taskbar icon direction.
Expand windows system menu ManageDesk includes the window extension. This is a shortcut menu you can invoke from any window. Setting Expand windows system menu check box allows you to move any application to desired desktop with the system menu, set application "Allways on top" or Close all but selected desktop windows.
Enable process viewer/dll viewer windows clearing Enable process viewer and Enable dll viewer check boxes allows you to hide these windows..

Press Apply button in the bottom of window for saving all changes you have made. Press Cancel for cancelling changes. There is one exception for hotkeys setting, which is saved by pressing Assign button in the "Move active window to other desktop" section.
